FOLAN’s participation in the technical committees underlines its commitment to the French Very High-Speed broadband initiative and we are working alongside numerous regional administrations such as the Ain, Manche, Loire, Somme and Isère regions to supply equipment for deploying fiber optics. FOLAN created a department dedicated to the Public Initiative Networks in 2017 to make its expertise available to the regional administrations and was notably chosen by the Isère region to supply all the passive equipment for its Very High-Speed network, amounting to a total of 450,000 future subscribers.
